Clontibret Club Notes

Senior League
Clontibret 0-18, Carrick 2-10. We got our senior league campaign off to a winning start in Carrick on Sunday last. Despite conceding two goals, our ability to kick points saw us through, winning by a two point margin in the end.
 
Fixtures
The following are upcoming league fixtures for this month (first named team is at home):
Sunday, 16th March: Reserve Div.3 v Rockcorry, 3pm;
Sunday, 23rd March: Seniors v Magheracloone, 3pm;
Saturday, 29th March: Reserve Div.1 v Carrick, 5pm.
 
Minor League
The first minor game of the year is fixed for Tuesday, 1st April away to Emmet Sarsfields at 7pm.
 
U14 League
Clontibret will play Emyvale on Saturday, 22nd March at 4pm in Clontibret, in the first round of the U14 league.
 
U12 League
Clontibret are away to Sean McDermott’s in the first round of the U12 league on Saturday, 29th March at 4pm.
 
Sympathy
The club extends sincere sympathy to the Hughes family, Tirmacmoe on the death of Cassie Mulligan. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a n-anam.
 
Tickets for Monaghan v Dublin
Tickets for the Monaghan v Dublin league clash in Parnell Park which takes place this Saturday will be distributed tonight, Thursday at 9.30pm in the clubrooms. All booked tickets must be collected tonight with the money.

Monaghan Sports Partnership Grant
