O'Neill Shamrocks Club Notes

Flag Day
We had an excellent response to our Flag Day last weekend. A great many helpers turned out to collect money, and the public gave generously. The money is still being counted so an exact figure is not available, but we raised an excellent amount which will be put towards the club funds. Many thanks to all who helped to organise this event, especially our chairman and secretary, Michael & Laura.
 
Stay Awake
Our juvenile members participated in a Sponsored Stay Awake last Thursday night, and also raised an excellent amount of money for the club. Many thanks to Amy Moen and Sinead and Una Curran for their help in organising the event. Thanks also to Danica Tavey and Aisling Todd for organising activities for the girls. Also to the parents who supervised; Michael & Margaret McGinn, Geraldine Moen, Gerry Brannigan and Harry Leonard. A special thanks to Margaret and Alana McGinn and Geraldine Moen for providing refreshments for the girls. The girls had a great night and are already looking forward to next year’s stay awake!
 
Senior & Minor Training
Senior and minor training continues on Tuesday at 7pm, and on Sundays at 11am (providing there is no match on the Sunday).
 
Senior League
We are due to play Latton this weekend in the first round of the senior league. Please contact the management regarding the exact day and time.
