Clontibret Club Notes

Senior League
We are due to play Inniskeen on Friday evening in a Star Game at 8pm in Clontibret (Clontibret won 0-14 to 0-10).
 
O’Duffy Cup
We played Scotstown yesterday evening to determine the quarter-final pairings (Clontibret won).
 
Reserve C Championship
Clontibret 0-15, Aghabog 1-06. A very gritty display in Killeevan on Wednesday evening last saw us progress to the next round of the Crawley Cup. This is due to take place on Wednesday, 30th July when we travel to meet Toome with a 7.15pm throw-in.
 
Minor League
We played Latton on Tuesday evening last in Clontibret in our second last league game (Clontibret won).
 
U16 League Semi-Final
Best of luck to the players and management in the semi-final which takes place tomorrow evening, Friday in Truagh at 7pm. Please come out and give the boys your support.
 
County Teams
Well done to our county representatives, John Paul, Dessie, Vinnie, Conor, Paul and Martin who played an important role in defeating Derry in the qualifiers last weekend. Good luck against Donegal on Saturday in Ballybofey. Hard luck to Padraig Boyle and the minor team who lost narrowly to Tyrone in the Ulster minor final on Sunday last.
 
Community Games Presentation
The Community Games Presentation evening takes place tomorrow evening, Friday, in Clontibret Community Centre at 9pm. All those who participated in Community Games competitions are welcome to attend, and medals will be presented to the winning teams.
 
U8 & U10 Training
Training tomorrow evening, Friday at 7pm as usual. However training next week has been switched to Thursday evening, 31st July at 7pm.
 
U21 Game
An u21 play-off game will be played in O’Neill Park on  Monday evening. 
 
Holiday Break
No matches from Friday, 1st August to Saturday, 9th August inclusive. On Sunday, 10th August we are due to resume senior league action with a game away to Scotstown at 7pm.
