O’Duffy Cup
Clontibret 1-06, ‘Blayney 0-09. The O’Duffy Cup final ended a draw in Drumhowan on Saturday last. Played in great conditions the game didn’t live up to its expectations. We went in a point up at half time, however a goal was to be our only score of the second half. This saw us take the lead until the final kick of the game when ‘Blayney drew with a close in free. There are a number of senior league games scheduled for the coming weeks, so the replay is likely to be a few weeks away.
 
Senior League
We play Doohamlet away this Sunday at 12.30pm.
 
Crawley Cup Final
We play Emyvale in the Crawley Cup final on Saturday at 2pm in Rooskey.
 
U13 League
Clontibret 3-12, Latton 2-10. We played a brilliant game on Saturday last to overcome a spirited Latton side. We trailed by a point at the break, and went 4 points down straight away at the start of the second half. However the boys fought back gallantly and went on to win by 5 points. We play Cremartin in the semi-final on Saturday week, 25th October in Clontibret.
 
Sympathy
The club would like to sympathise with Philip Fitzpatrick and family on the death of his mother Gertie. Sympathy is also extended to James Cassidy and the Cassidy family on the death of Maisie on Friday last.
